Hi All,
Last week I developed a broken trans line while on the interstate and I think it ran my transmission almost out of oil. I think that I drove it for 100 miles or so before I realized it. The roads were snowy so I was driving slow, then I stop and when I got on the intrastate again it was hard to get up to speed. I check and the transmission and it was dry, I put some fluid in and got my self to a shop and the line was fixed. The day after the line was fixed everything seemed fine and then the day after that I developed a bad vibration in reverse. #@$%!
This vibration is the worse when in reverse and can be felt when turning left (but not right) and a little bit on shut down and start up. It feels like it is coming from under the dash like maybe a torque converter or flexplate. But when I am driving forward and accelerating it shifts good and no vibration. I have no idea what it is. Any ideas?
Thanks
Corey
