Who's got the Badest 160hp truck? This is only for you 94-95 2wd AUTO guys... non stock pumps don't count... psp-p7100 don't count either... all mods on pump are cool, but must stock pump... . Please list your Hp/Torque and what mods

Dynoed one last Friday that went 607. 5 hp and 1248 torque. I'll let the owner tell you the mods. The truck is a 1978 Lil' Red Express drag truck. The pump is a 160 pump on a 96 block. http://www.dieseltruckresource.com/yabbse/gallery/displayimage.php?album=lastup&pid=1768

Eric... . has that pump been apart... if so, it's DQ'd in this inquiry... if it has not been modified

Original fueling section, including the pump cam. GSK is installed and the back had to be pulled for that. It has been calibrated on a pump stand.



Yea, Matt it's going to be a runner. We have to start tuning it now we have some base line runs. It'll be exciting.

Air is the key... . with the way my truck smokes at WOT... . i dont' doubt I am missing some 100hp from the lack of AIR!

After Piers got my old 180 pump back and put it on the stand it was at 488cc's(have no idea about the HP) that was good for a 13. 19@107, 6400 lbs, 2WD, stock tires... . I think we are in for a treat!

On EDIT: The 607. 5 was with JR Adkins Black Magic injectors. The 370s netted 593. 6 hp and 1305. 4 ft lbs.

Did I fail to mention that the 425 ccs is with the stock plate all the way forward? It has more, we just ran out of turbo efficiency for now... ... .

I have not hit the dyno yet but my 95 2wd auto has the stock pump with a #5 plate, stock injectors, 4k gsk, Piers o-ringed the block, piers cam, piers ported head, ATS exhaust manifold, 16cm turbo housing, basically everything to get rid of egt's. Not sure on the power though.

Ok... . your the type of truck I have been looking for... . cause I have the same truck with the same mods ..... now... .



1. Has the pump been off the truck?



2. What is the timing set at?



3. What are 022 delevery valves?



Remeber there are no secrets in the "Diesel Circle"

Timing is set at 15. 5, 022 D Valves are simler to 091 they came from Enterprice Engine, the pump has been off the truck just to balance the idle fule, no other adjustments were made it was adjusted to 18 cc at idle don't know what full fuel cc were, Best time at the track was 13. 98 at 98. 14 mph, on street tires not slicks, this is a daily driver not a trailered drag truck
