Saw a RAM almost identical to mine without badges and it looked beautiful. So far the removal techniques are; Floss, WD-40 , heat gun to remove.

What method have you use with easy success with no leftover mess on the doors?

Thanks.

I have used the heat gun, floss and WD-40 method on many cars. I debadge most. This works very well. A hair dryer will work just as well as you don't want all the heat the gun will put out. It will damage the paint. I just don't have a hair dryer in the shop.

I use some piano wire or some small gauge electrical wire to cut the the glue, then use an eraser wheel and then some alcohol to get the remaining tidbits of glue. Then polish the hell out of it.

I do not de-badge, but have read on other sites that most guys use fishing line and a product called Goo Gone.

I used fishing line followed by a decal removal wheel. It's a rubber wheel that fits in a drill and removes decals and stickers without harming the paint and works great on the double sided tape used on the emblems. I got mine from a local parts store for somewhere around $40.
Removed the "3500 HEAVY DUTY" badges from the sides and the "4X4" and large Ramshead badges from the tailgate. I replaced the large Ramshead badge with a smaller one without the "Dodge" script.
