Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Bag gauge?

My fuel pressure gauge just started making a buzzing noise that increases with RPM. I have a Isspro mechanical gauge plumbed straight to the cab (no isolator). It is snubbed via a needle valve which is barely open to protect against pressure spikes. It is still working fine, just really noisy. Any thoughts?

How open is the needle valve??? Our 2k has the same type of setup and the needle valve is just open enough to see pressure and thats it.
