Oilguard

47RE drain & re-fill

has anyone used them. i noticed that they were being used on some heavy equipment powered by cummins that i rented from nation's rent. the equipment must get abused badly.

thanks.

scott.

I have used them on my truck (BT339 is the Baldwin #) and on the farm (Case skid loader and semis). We haven't ever had a problem with the Baldwins. We use the air, fuel and lube filters on the farm where I work.

They seem to do a better job than the Wix filters I had used before, but the oil stays a little clearer longer with the Fleetguard filters vs. the Wix or Baldwin.

Used them on a Dmax because the OE filters are priced like the truck- way more than it is worth! Go to Cummins for everything for the Dodges.

Baldwins tend to be cheaper than their OEM counterparts. You will see them being used commercially often for that reason alone. Rip one open and you will find that the filter is middle of the road in construction. There isnt much money to be saved over buying a filter that will not give you headaches if a warranty situation arises.
