Ball joint broke!

Holy crap! I was parallel parking in front of the house and the Left Upper balljoint broke on my D250! I guess I knew this has been known to happen, but DANG! If it had lasted five miles less, I'd be on a downtown expressway with no breakdown lane!



I got it into the spot okay, I wonder if it it'll make it 30 feet and a 90 degree turn into the garage, or if I should just change that one on the street?



Just changed the ball joints in the wife's Grand Wagoneer the other week. Good thing I didn't bring the loaner ball joint press back yet!!

I don't think luck had anything to do with it... ... . after all, we're all parishoners of that great church "Our Lady Of Acceleration"..... this is merely an example of the patron saint of G-Forces..... looking out for 'her' own.....
