Ball joint problems

Yeah! I run the bar on my truck, I'm not just a watcher like my mechanic friend. :-laf Any how it did have the up and down slight movement but the in and out play was the concern. My friend said if I can make that tire rattle or that popping noise in and out that ball joint is going to need replacing soon. The drivers side tire was the main culprit. Dealership said still in spec so who knows if they even checked the in and out play. Dealership service writer told me to be sure and keep my documentation, little piece of paper that said no problem found. It's out of warranty now as far as time limit goes.

In my case I would feel a slight clunk through the steering wheel and on my next service I would tell them to check front end and both times they changed upper and lower joints,and clunk feel in the wheel went away.
