Attention: TDR Forum Junkies My 2000 1 ton, with 70,000 miles had all four ball joints go bad. What a chore!!! Local place wanted 1000 bucks to do them, so I thought, do them myself... The uppers came out fairly well with a tool from O'Reillys, but the bottoms were stuck!!!! We heated and pounded for hours but finally got the deed done. Then on the way home, the place I buy fuel, in 8 hours the price went from $3. 19 to 3. 49 a gallon! Diesel is almost a dollar more than regular! Guess I'm gonna have to ride the motorcycles more often. That is outrageous!!
