At 45200 miles just had new tires placed on my truck. I was informed the ball joints and track bar are bad. There is a large gap in the ball joints and the track bar moves easily up and down approximately 1/2 inch.

Two (2) questions?

#1: Is this par for the course with our trucks?

#2: Who makes a after market replacement that will last longer that 45000 miles?

Mine went out at less than 40K. I got a DT Track bar and went with the Mopar ball joints - Moog doesn't make them for us (yet). So far, so good and the DT track bar is far superior to the stock one.

I went with the DT track bar so that I could re-center the axle after the 2" leveling kit. Moog ball joints w/zirk fittings went in at the same time. A very nice improvement in handling:D
