My mechanic says that I need a left upper ball joint and tie rod ends.

Is there a good aftermartket supplier that makes these with grease fittings?

Moog makes very good parts. their "problem solver" parts are all upgrades from oem. they are definately pricey though. i need all four ball joints in mine. they cost me about 300 for all four.

300 for 4 is better than what I was quoted. He was running almost that for 2.

Who did you get them from and were they greasable?

does anyone make an adjustable ball joint for the 3500 (2002 axle i swaped them from my 98 for bigger brakes) for camber and caster. I just called Ingalls eng. and they discontinue the one they had part# 61500 said they had problems with it and are redesigning it should take at least four months. its off by two degrees and pulls hard to the left. aligment shop said theres nothing they can do.

HELP!

that is my cost on them. not an installed price. i work in an automotive shop. i havent actually done them yet. i plan on doing them in the next couple of weeks.

I can't believe nobody's mentioned Luke's Links. I just bought a set of 5, which includes the track bar end, for my 1995 truck.

The first one took about an hour to install. The remaining four took about another hour and a half. I am meticulous and slow.

When I took it to the dealer for alignment following the installation, the mechanic complained about the joints being too tight.

A set of five is $275, including shipping. They have grease fittings and are re-buildable.

Lukes link is not for ball joints, it will do the tie rod ends.

Just had Moog Ball joints installed. All originals worn out a 53,000m

Upper $320 pair, Lower $330 pair. They are greasable. The truck is a lot toghter. Saw one of the old ones, lower, and it had over 1/4" play.
