Ball Joints

Well, I didnt think this would come up so soon since I replaced both uppers and lowers last year around this time. Anyhow, a coworker of mine was following me today and noticed my right front wheel was wobbeling. As soon as I got home I raised the front end and low and behold I had quite a bit of play in the lower ball joints on both sides. Not extreme but enough to see the lower moving. I went back with MOOG ball joints. In fact I figured I would see a problem with the uppers before the lowers but that isnt the case now I guess. Anyway, what is the deal here? I used a ball joint press and they pressed in snug and grease the chassis every oil change. No harsh driving, in fact, usually only 5 miles to work and back every day. Why are these going out so soon? Anyone else had problems with MOOG ball joints?
