Well, it's finally time to do the ball joints on my brothers 97. Somehow he got 240,000 out of em. My question is, after reading as many of the other threads on ball joints, has anyone tried the Spicer ball joints from Rock Auto? I would think these are the oem replacements as our fronts are Dana / Spicer 60... The Moog joints are $55 + ea. while the Spicers are $13 and $9 lower and upper respectively... . Any thoughts Ed3

I just did my 95 with the Moog from Rock Auto. I think the extra $9 is worth it for all the trouble you are going to go through.

Although not too big a job, I did have a hard time seperating the knuckel. I finally modified a pitman arm puller (grinding it down).

First one took about 4 hours, Second about 2 hours. It's a job you learn from.
