I've stumbled onto a total hotrod truck at a used car dealer, who hasn't figured out how much they are going to ask yet. What do you think its worth on the open market? Here's what I know:

2001 QC 4x4 LB w/45k miles, SLT

PDR Race P-Pump Conversion & supporting fuel system

PDR Twins w/5" exhaust

Valet Mode Switch

BD Auto transmission with a lockup switch

Injectors - not sure, but judging by the smoke in valet mode, they must be big.

O'Ringed with custom pistons & PDR cam

Custom hood with ghost flames

Weld wheels with Pro Comp 305/70's

Skyjacker 2. 5" Class II lift

BD X-Monitor - Max boost showed 66. 4 psi

Small dent in rear bumper but the rest of the body is straight

It does have a small leak in the oil pan.

It handles really well and I could tell it had gobs of power but it was rainy, so it just broke loose on me.

I just wanted to know what people felt it might be worth on the open market. Thanks in advance for your input.

I would say at least $28K.

Those PDR mods alone are close to $10K. Add the BD trans (3K) and other miscellaneous parts, and I think even $30K would be a steal.

might want to get a vin# and get the original owner ID'ed... call the original owner and find out why he traded it. . may have more issues that you'd want to deal with. . worth the time IMHO

Sounds like an awesome truck! Take some pictures!

The mods are "worth" a lot, but they really only help resale value to the right person.

If you need amo to get the price down bring up the lack of warrenty. It would be nice to turn that around on a dealer some time:D

Or, better yet, get the dealer to give you a 4 year/50,000 mile no deductable warranty on the truck as it sits! ;) :D

Yep, its Intense Blue.

I called the owner, and the truck is a drag racer's dream. Unfortunately, I drive lots of miles and hit some pretty bad weather during the winter, so this is just too much truck for me. Not too mention, that race pump smokes quite nicely even in valet mode.

He also put a Dana 80 in the rear with a Detroit Locker. Its got a '98 12 valve wiring harness. It still needs a reflash by BD to get rid of the "NO BUS" code that appears on the odometer as you drive.

Somebody will get an awesome truck. Here's the link.

700HP? I don't think so... I saw it at the track last year, and it ran a best of like 14. 99 and smoked heavy the whole time. With what it has on it, that truck SHOULD have been much faster.

Makes you wonder why it is sitting on a used lot in the first place...

1) Ran out of money

2) Got bored with it

3) Wife threw him out (divorce) = ran out of money

4) Bought a 2JZ-GTE powered Supra
