Ban on RV home storage in San Jose

'Nerd, I remember that meeting (I told you I grew up there).

Actually, my Dad and Uncle went to that meeting. If I recall, they weren't just talking about RV's and boats. They were talking about cars, swingsets, boats, campers, snow-mobile trailers, etc. I think it was proposed that you could only have two vehicles on the premesis and they had to be in the garage (don't quote me, but it was something absurd like that). I know there were several people (my Dad and Uncle included), that said they didn't want that ordinance. That was the reflection of the vast majority. From what I heard (and read the following weekend), the City councel leader basically said that it didn't matter what people wanted, that the oridnance should still be written. But he also stated that they would wait until someone complained before they did anything.



It just goes to show, that there are a few idiots still around and that some of them are elected.
