I have searched for almost an hour now & still cant find the size of the banjo bolts on the fuel filter. Im SURE its got to be here somewhere.

Is it SAE or metric?

What size is it?

Or better yet, does anyone know the Earls part number of the fitting that screws into the filter that changes it to a -6 fitting?

thanks guys

Bob

Earls actually has a couple of different items. The adapter is actually for Weber carbs. Thread size is 12mmx1. 5. There is a 90 degree hose end that goes directly into the ports, #849092ERL

The fitting that screws into the filter housing is p# 9919DFGERL for -6 AN. -8AN is 9919EFGERL.

The Hose with an AN fitting then screw onto that.

-6 is = 3/8" line, -8 = 1/2" line.

A couple ?'s come to mind.

-6 = 3/8, -8 = 1/2 line. Is that tubing size or hose? I assume inside diameter, right???

How tight are the bends in these Earls swivel seal adapters? All the web sites don't really give a person an idea of how tight the radius is.

I am thinking I will use the 9919EFGERL 12MMx1. 5 fitting and then an 812008ERL 120* swivel seal hose end on that. Or maybe the 150* fitting? I'm not sure if the radius of the bend will be too tight to clear over the edge of the fuel filter top/back edge. I know a 90* will work, but the 120 will point the fuel hose in a better direction towards where it comes from the back.

Oh, my project is to replumb with larger line and install a p-pump back by the tank. I'm trying to figure out how to best connect the hose to the inlet of the stock fuel filter.

Thanks for your thoughts.
