Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Banjo bolt washer

Should the washers on the banjo bolt on the fuel line that comes out of the bottom of the fuel/water separator canister be copper or aluminum?

I believe OEM are copper but it doesn't matter. There's even ones you can get that have rubber inside surrounded by metal. Just dont forget their torque specs are only 18 ft lbs.

Item #2 is Cummins part # 3963983. It is a metal/rubber sealing washer.
