City Diesel or Genos both have sets. Got mine from City.

Sounds like a busy weekend. Recommend you do the fuel system before injectors, or vice-versa, just to eliminate doubt when you try to refire the CTD. Check one job out before proceeding to the next.

Even with the banjo bolts there is a restricted line from the FTP to the fuel filter. You should also consider the Vulcan Large line setup.

yes it should be intresting, two men, one who is a cert, cummins mech and then me. at the same time Im doing the tract bar and fixing a tierod. and putting a different fuel-press gauge in. should be good I just hope I dont have the surge I here so much about. I have a ez but may keep it off.

In my opinion, high flow banjo bolts make about as much sence as jumbo shrimp... they are opposites. The fuel line from the fuel filter to the VP is only 1/4 inch ID. Even with better flowing banjo bolts, you will not get decent flow to the VP until you replace everything with straight fittings and oversize lines..... just what the Vulcan kit does.

I drilled out my banjos right after getting the 01. 5. When I replaced the banjos with straight fittings and big line, I gained 2 psi at idle and 4 psi at WOT. Personally, I think a major part of the lift pump problems is actually due to the lousy banjo bolts and small fuel lines!

Yup. The stock lift pump will supply about 350rwhp with the stock lines, but up to 425rwhp with the restrictive banjos and lines removed. Above that, a pusher is needed.

We sell both the big line kit and the pusher pump separately for this reason.

I guess I should also add that I believe a major part of VP failures are caused by the lousy fuel lines and fittings the factory uses. I would recommend the importance of upgrading them right up there with guages... a must have and first step!!!

fuel line/high flow

the main fuel line will be replaced with the fass pump. I will be putting a new fuel pressure gauge on the truck at the same time. thanks for the input

the line from the vp44 to the filter Im still working on to replace as well. i should of explained more about what I was looking for the hight flow straight bolts. thanks for the help

The vulcan big line kit is the way to go, well thought out and install is a snap. I would consider putting in a switch so you get the pre and post psi. I just finished putting the westach gauge and wish I had ordered the second sender and switch
