i would really like a banjo bolt that is set up for a fuel pressure guage like the setup of illflem's... ... .

nothing fancy, just one that is drilled and tapped with a 1/8th npt for a fuel pressure guage. if you know where i can buy one, let me know.

thanks. scott.

Maybe I could pick up a few banjo bolts drill, tap and install a needle valve if enough folks are interested. Have no idea on the part number or how much they cost.

bill, i'll pay for mine and the shipping and your time! i'm not sure on how to get the part number. but i would be interested if you could do something like that. i've been wanting a fuel pressure guage for some time now..... let me know. scott.

This is what I posted in an older thread after I did my Banjo's:

"I just finished modifiying my Bango bolts. A piece of cake. VERY EASY. The whole job took maybe an hour.

It may be more aggravation for Ray making new ones than its worth. All 3 Bango bolts are different.

The lift pump to fuel filter head bango bolt has a 13mm tapped hole in the head of the bolt for injector fuel drain manifold 'mini' bango bolt that screws into it.

The fuel filter head outlet to injection pump bango bolt has a 10mm tapped hole in the head for a plug to bleed air from the lines, or to screw in TST's adapter for a pressure gauge.

I did what drawson did to the bango bolts. I drilled the holes out to 3/16" reamed and chamfered them. The stock holes are small and look quite restrictive. The hole that goes thru the bolt (vertically) is quite large. I didn't bother touching that. The bolt looks like a different one when you are done.

I didn't bother drilling the bango bolt that is on the injection pump. There are 4 good sized holes already. My 3/16" reamer passed thru them with plenty of room to spare.

My idle fuel pressure didn't really change. My 2500 rpm no-load reading went up 1 psi.

Driving around town is where I noticed a decent fuel pressure increase. It seems I now get 2-3 psi more fuel pressure throughout the 1200-2200 rpm range. I haven't put my foot into it yet, so not sure about increased performance.

Overall it seems like a decent inexpensive mod.

is this banjo bolt at the rear of the pump or the front of the pump? isn't the one at the front/top the return valve? thanks. scott

The supply banjo bolt is on the drivers side rear of the fuel pump. The other two banjo bolts are on the top of the fuel filter housing.
