Banks 24v turbo and ECM thing: anyone try?

Anyone tell me what is special about the new banks turbo, ECMish thing and the air intake pipe?

The pipe makes sense since it makes a smooth curve. Not sure about the turbo, looks like just a housing with a banks adjustable wastegate. Now the ECMish thing has me curious.....

Does this mean there is a Twin Ram for the 24v now. Don't worry HVAC I will get you one if there is.

David, the ecm whatever thing you elude to is otherwise known as a Power Max.

The turbo they typically go with is a wastegated 14cm2.

What was the cost for this trick Banks engineering?

Sorry HVAC, but the new Banks intake is a single runner. It seems that you can't put 2 things in the same space (the intake runners and the high pressure fuel lines). But the new intake runner is real nice looking.

One correction to the powermax response. As I understand it, the box is made by the same company for both TST and Banks, but the programing inside each box is different. The Banks is much more reserved than the PM, and not adjustable. It also does not have a power switch on it.

Now all this said, I am refering to the original Banks "Ottomind" box, they may have a new product out at this time. I e-mailed both companies a while back, and ask for information on the differences, and got no reply from anybody, so all this is info I have picked up from the "field".
