Cool Smoke out story

NV 4500 Slags on Continental Divide

As most of you know, my run in with Banks had me furious so I continue to flame Banks topics because of the unproffesional way one of Bank's pro-Ford techs talked down about my Cummins to me before I was about to make a purchase(stupid). I told him that I would tell every negative aspect of their products till the end of time for his rudeness.

My remarks are directed solely at Banks and not to others on this board. If you don't like the way I feel about Banks then tuff nookies!! You wasn't on the other end of that conversation and the inevidable lost sale.

Thank you to those of you who understand my venting.

I saw "TRUCKS" on TNN advertising the Banks Brake and saying it would add another 20 HP. I tried to send them a "I want Dyno'd Proof" E-Mail but the site isn't working. Nimda virus?

Wowzy,

Don't sweat Naiven. Don't know what is up his shorts but he only comes out of the closet for Banks threads and defends Banks with a passion. He tends to go away if you ignore him.

I agree.

Hi NOMOFO.

I have never heard of Scotts Valley, Where is it?. Been living here in Kalifornia since 1969,came out here with the hippies (LOL)when I was 8yrs old.

Doug In Bakersfield. (Grapes of wrath)

Hey HDH,

A few miles NE of Santa Cruz on the way to San Jose. Didn't know they would allow hippies in Bakersfield. :D Thought they were all lured to the progressive:confused: Socialist Republic of Santa Cruz. The ones that want to have a group hug with Bin Laden:mad:

Later, Bob Lone redneck in sea of pacifists;)

Oh, Thats where Scotts Valley is, I was looking at the Map way up north!LOL.
My Aunt and Uncle live in Danville,If you know where that is.

Originaly moved out here in 1969 to Armona with my parents that worked at NAS lemore.
Going through High School we Lived in Hanford then Madera. After my hitch in the Military, I was living in LA/Longbeach CA working for SCE. Now the New world of Electric De-Regulation has me living in Bakersfield.
Bakersfield is Very Conservtive and isnt a bad place to live,It would be a better place if it was in some other western state!

I still remember the Trip out here from Delaware Ohio in 69 on RT66, Lots of Hippie VW Buses and Hitchhikers.

Nice burnout Steve!

HEY STEVE!

Nice avatar! Wonder where you got it?:p :D

Hey, do I get a royalty every time you post with it?;) How about a mention in the "credits"? Ah... the life of a poor starving freelance videographer. :D

I'm still trying to figure out who was doing the wheeling of Steve's truck,,Could it have been the "Burnout King" from out in western Canada???,,Or is this it,while in his presence Steve was trained by him???,,Inquiring minds want to know,,Also, myself I do not like the ad,but, that is only my opinion so I do not pay attention to it,,For those who want them to do a truck doing a burnout, they have been that route already it was a first generation rig a while ago,,Guess if they are going to flame this ad what's next????

Just me myself and I :D ! Self trained too. Because I'm a regular at the dragstrip now, I installed a line lock/roll control and that helps immensely - I can sit there for as long as I want. I have about 50 burnouts (many larger than that) and runs on the truck this year. Here's a good still shot from the Quaker City DDRA race (that was the first weekend I had the roll control installed):

hey Steve

what is the DDRA?

I saw a post from Stack'd N Jack'd where he was advertising a race in St louis. MO. in Oct.

what's it all about? live about an hour away and plan to go, and maybe participate. :D

Todd, the DDRA is the Diesel Drag Racing Association. It's a nationwide series just for us oil burners :D ! There are four different classes: working truck (18 wheelers that are regular working trucks - some of the guys come in with trailers in tow and then drop the trailers and race all day), pro big truck (can you say 13 second big rigs? ), light duty stock (what Eric run in, light duties with street tires), and pro light duty (these guys are running shortened little trucks mostly running Detroit diesel and there are running 9's-11's). Right now Eric (Stack'd'n'jack'd) is first in points and I'm third. We'll both be at the St. Louis race October 20th - come down and have a blast! It's bracket racing so it doesn't matter how fast you are, just how consistent you are. I'm emailing you some info.
