Got it all bolted up yesterday. Had to replace the band clamps on the A-T today with U-bolt clamps 'cause the band types wouldn't close up the gap on the A-T (slight exhaust leak). It's all snugged up now and has that deep drone (reminds me of my truckin' days) comin' from waaaaay in the back! Nice and pleasant in the cab and the A-T doesn't seem to have made the system any quieter compared to what few other Banks systems I have heard. It may be just a little though and I may, repeat may try a straight pipe in place of the Banks muff and just run the A-T only. I have it mounted just behind the flanged joint of the down pipe and intermediate pipe. When this *#@% rain finally clears off (yes, I removed the stock system in the rain and managed to dodge it long enough to intall the new system) I'll run around some with the windows down to get a better idea of what it sounds like outside. Overall, it's tight and no rattles, buzzes or other annoying sounds to indicate a problem. The Banks and A-T are pretty pieces!!! :D

Banks/Aeroturbine

This is a really great combination. The Banks down pipe eliminates the cast elbow on the turbo which seems to be a source of drone when some 4' systems are installed on these trucks. The addition of the aeroturbine as far forward int he system as possible also helps to combat drone and give a nice engine sound out the tail pipe and will also help reduce EGTs. Congratulations on your new exhaust.
