You call Me By My 1st Name... But I have NO idea who you are other then yours User Name... 1000s of people have been victims of mis-leading info on the net BC they did NOT take the time to identify who their dealing with... . You type as you have some type of professional back ground BUT will not let anyone look into your depth of skills. . have YOU ever develop and brought to market any device? or work for any Professional service.

AD. . I see you have changed your tone some

I know you don't believe what manufactures say, "but the Big Hoss is not a towing setup. There could be a myriad of reasons, but trans/clutch/turbo come to mind. They even talk about heavy towing and added power exceeding the limits of the stock torque converter" advertising or statements form many source always cover their liability... ..... In reality it means "their is risk in changing or modifying any component,if you are NOT willing to take the risk DON'T modify"

I DON'T have problem with your opinion when support by personal experience. Paste and copying is limited knowledge many facts and issues are left out. I spoke with Brady for II last night for some time... He brought up 1 comment form a source that has cause unlimited loss to owners... On the social network AD you only see key-stoke loss. . It pains ME when I see support for comments that incite destruction. Both of us agree you cannot stop the power of suggestion. . If you are foolish enough to believe type hype then be prepared for financial loses and heartache.

My name is not hidden, and many people know it. You can't even abbreviate my user name correctly, so what's the point it telling you my name. I was unaware that I need to start posts by going "Hi, my name is John. This is my post"

I was also unaware that I had to manufacture any products to be able to read/talk/understand technical data. You manufacture products and put out information contrary to published specifications, so that really doesn't jive with your theory.

There is zero reason to need personal experience to take manufactures specs, published facts, and data to make an educated decision. Based on your opinion I need to go buy a Ford 6. 0 Powerstroke to verify they are junk.

The only regular type hype around here is in your posts.

Banks offers a towing setup, it's just not the Big Hoss. As a dealer you should know that. Anything has liability; however, they also have intended usage.

If You say so... . Do you sign checks with AH64ID?... By the way NOT all 6. 0 are JUNK. . Many owners have 200K plus trouble free miles. . Its just another area you have your own agenda.

So you acknowledge, YOUR depth of understanding is equal publish literature that You have no experience or ownership. .

Depends on the application.

Again, no one in their right mind is going purchase and try something with bad specs. Specs are there for a reason, especially ones based on an industry standard, not mfgr standard.

You do a good job of discrediting the requirement to own/use something to talk about it. According to you, one of the best CP3 guru's, the CP3 can defy physics, and you misquote filtration specs on filters you use. Personal experience is not always needed to understand a system, nor does it make you an expert.

The Problem AH64ID. . the manufacturer's spec's can be determined to be not adquate. . They are just touch tone's (In some Cases). . take tire ratings. . How many owners never get near the Manufacture mileage ratings. Generally manufacture ratings are the absolute best case scenario. Until you test the ratings Post #24 applies. . or its just your opinion. the facts would be actual results you received.

Tires utilize a mileage warranty, not mileage rating. I have never seen tires rated to "x" miles based on SAE or ISO standards, have you? There is some room for ratings based soley on mfgr tests, but when they have a standard behind them there is less room to fudge.

Look at the SAE ratings that changed how hp/tq was measured in 2003-2004 time frame. Some engines went up, some went down. That was without mechanical/electrical changes.

Anther example is the SAE tow ratings, Dodge used those standards for the Max Tow and as we all know those ratings are higher than before. The Tundra lost capacity when it went to the standard.

That's the benefit to an industry wide standard, they are all put thru the same tests and the results are what the specific test showed. It's much easier to put faith in those tests than an arbitrary test, especially when a manufacturer gives requirements based on specific SAE or ISO ratings.

ISO or SAE in many cases is just a go around... . It doesn't make the product better. . it just a rating or system. You put your faith in ratings. . I will use them as just a touch tone. I would NEVER put Faith in RATINGS... and this is what splits us apart... I would never support any Product without 1st hand knowledge of it qualifications. If I promote any device or product its bases on My experience knowledge in REAL WORLD environment. NOT ratings or some system. This is why we will in most case(s) NEVER agree. . Two different standards.

Never seen tire mileage ratings. . HydroEdge | Michelin Tires

That's a mileage warranty, not a mileage rating based on an SAE/ISO standard.

It's impossible to test everything yourself, some faith is needed. You have to have more faith in your filters than I do. You run a 23um multi-pass filter, so you have faith that it's more than 460% better than rated to meet Bosch specs. I run a 3um single pass filter, if my filter is only 60% as good as it's rating then it still meets the specs Bosch established.
