Banks Dual Gauge Pillar Install

Anybody every installed one of Bank's dual gauge pillar mount in a 2000 or 2001 ram? Mine came with no install instructions and I am not really sure how to attach it to the truck.

It really doesn't look like I should attach it to the old cover, but unable to determine a way to get a nice fit. I like the piece alot (already has tweeter hole) and looks nice.

Any advice or hints are appreciated. Thanks,
