So I got a banks exhaust break from my buddie used. He took everything apart so i basically got a box of parts. So and after finishing up install I'm not getting a green light on the bank's computer so I go through all my wiring 3 times 4 times 5 times and still no green light so I'm assuming the banks computer is bad.

So my question is is can I rig this exhaust brake up so that its just like a BD or PAC brake with switches on the clutch and throttle to deactivate the exhaust brake?

Do I need to worry about damaging motor?

Fill out your signature so folks know what vehicle you have, year, transmission, etc. and you might get more responses.
A computer shouldn't be required to use the brake and based on your comment about "clutch" I assume you have a manual transmission. Disconnect switches there and on the throttle, coupled with relays should work but I'm not the best authority since I've always had auto. trans.
