Okay - for those that have an exhaust brake - which would you go with - remote or next to the turbo?



Please, don't start any wars with the best brake - just state your opinion and go with it.

Exhaust Brake

ANY brand of Exhaust Brake is better than NO exhaust brake.

I went with Banks. It is BIG and completely replaces the factory plumbing off the turbo. It is a very heavy casting and works very well. A great side effect was the exhaust noise from under the passenger side floor board is gone. It also cycles when started cold. Got for $850 complete with smart lock for trans. Look around and check for sales at banks, can get good pricing if you look. The noise reduction in the cab is very noticeable, wife noticed first time after installing. She usually dosen't notice any changes.
