Any feedback from owners of the Diesel Dynamics BB turbo?

Has anybody got hp gain or torque gain numbers on the Banks High Ram? I'm looking for independent info, not what Banks claims.....

I have read in past posts that someone installed a high ram intake and dynoed and found that they lost 1-2 hp. I have one and all I can say is it looks good but it came with the truck when I bought it. ATS makes a new intake but I have yet to see any hp gains posted but it comes drilled and tapped for things like water injection and boost pressure ports.

what if it is a f350??? do they gain another 10hp? if that is the case, the guys with the f650 supercruzer stickers are making some good hp then :-laf

I'm not fan of any Banks product but from what I've read the High Ram is a total flop. I've also read about people actually losing power with it. It does look nice but the new ATS unit looks much better IMO.

someone here installed one of the ats units on their 3rd gen and while it looks nice, it didn't fit so well [as they made it universal to all 24v's isb's]

A while back, member 777mechanic tested one and LOST hp. It's probably related to the expansion (larger internal diameter) that the unit allows over stock.

I've never seen one in person, but it appears that the ATS Arc-Flow manifold is a better design.

I just put the ATS on and the fit is not that great. The hose end points foward and up about a 1/2 inch more than stock. But their is no restriction in the air flow with it!The stocker necks down pretty good at the long bolts. Overall is is a nice piece.

IIRC the 'test data' from the member that lost HP was a single run on a Mustang(?) chassis dyno. When I worked at Garrett the lab engineers wouldn't even bother looking at any difference less than 5hp on an engine dyno. The dyno's don't reliably measure differences that small.

I'd be looking at the flow numbers of the Banks piece vs stock instead of HP/TQ.
