Banks intercooler

I have an 05 dodge auto CTD which has the wimpy intercooler (plastic end tanks). I plan to drag race my truck with twins,etc ( I want it all). Is the Banks Techni-cooler intercooler with the boost tube &high ram worth the money ($1300) or should I buy or find a used 04 intercooler(which may be very difficult). Thanks

No Banks

Don't go with the Banks setup. Many other companies are working on the problem. Wait for them, either Banks prices will come down or you will find a better product. Besides, I don't think you will be adding everything at once to your truck and you will be able to wait for the aftermarket intercooler.

I think there are some guys already pushing 50+ lbs of boost via twins through the '05 intercooler. I would also save that mod for later and see what shows up. I also do not think it would be hard to find an '03-04 intercooler from a slavage yard at this point.
