some time ago I installed a Banks'Ottomind" fuel plate, No. 62406, in my 95 Ram 3500. Good acceleration, little smoke, good mpg. Does anyone have any idea what HP and torque I have now? This was a used plate. I also have K&N filter and tst bost elbow, auto transmission with 97,000 miles. Was this plate actually made byTST for Banks? What else could I do to increase HP a little more? thanks again.

I asked Banks the same question a few years ago. They said the their plates were made by TST for a few years, but no more. When I asked which TST plate mine were equal to he said I would need to tell him the number on the Ottomind plate, since I didn't want to remove the cover I never found out. Call Banks with the number, they have always been easy for me to deal with, make sure to let them know you want to ask a technical question. Since you bought yours used it may be the plate used for a 5 speed, which will give you more power than the one designed for an AT. As for more power mods it depends on how far you want to go, at some point you will have to beef up your AT if you want to use the power. Cheap ways to go for you are to remove the cat, turn your star wheel towards the engine about 30 clicks for more low end power and remove the snorkel restrictor between the airbox and wheelwell.

My truck is similarily equipped to yours. When I had the

TST #6 plate which I believe is close to your plate, I

dynoed at: 225 H. P. /625 Torque. This was at the rear

wheels on a Mustang Dynamometer.

Hope this helps you!
