This plate, P/N 62408, came out of an RV B5. 9 190HP with internal damage. I'm trying to find out what other HP application engine can it be use on, like maybe an auto 180hp or standard 175hp?

I can't help with what it resembles the most (Sorry), but I can tell you it does not resemble a #4, #5, or #6 plate.

Pablo it looks like an 11 from here,You should have said something at Mazatlan event I had every version of TST plates with me. It will add torque and hp on your truck

Not 11! The 11 slopes toward the front of truck, just up from the bottom corner. I had that 62408 in my 215 - not a good application. Joe and Mark C. both looked at it. Mark thought it was a cross between 6 & 8 but didn't pull one of his to be sure. I think Joe said the same thing. I had tracings of several plates but can't find them now. I think it matched an 8 - or darn close. Whatever it is - it's for a lower hp, like 180. The reason it isn't good in a 215 is WAY too much top end fuel. When I slid it back so I didn't have to watch my foot, then the mid range was nearly gone. When I had it far enough forward to get good mid range, I could squeel the tires with my 5er on and peg the egt in no time! Craig

I found the drawings that TST sent me. The upper (defueling) slope is much deeper (forward) on the 6, than the 8 & 11. Defueling is still considerably later on the 8 than the 11. According to these TST drawings, that 62408 is closest to their 8. Craig

I think some of you guys are thinking the defueling slope is the main fuel slope. The defueling slopes are similar on the 8,10 and11and the 6 is the strange one. There's a HUGE difference in those main fuel slopes!

Thanks for all the feed back. It does look like a #11 plate, base on the picture gitchesum posted. I did call Banks but did not like their answer, their tech said it would work in any of the B5. 9 P7100 and would not give me any specs on the plate, HP and torque performance. The engine it came out off also had a 14 cm wastegated housing with the Big Head actuator which are now laying on top off my tool box since the engine is a core and apparently the owner did not want them back. I have a #6 and 3K GK on its way from Piers but I was curious about the performance of this one. If any one is interested in it drop me a PM. Pablo

Imagine no hump between the lower corner and the defueling point! I mean it's a straight line from idle to defuel. Bucu fuel from off idle on up! I think it's rated 300hp@2000rpm in a 215. Craig
