Whoa Ramboy!... ... ... . I bought the Banks Kit and had it installed on my 2000/3500 ETC/DEE. It made a poor running, sick pulling truck pull much better. I did not like having the Ottomind computer HARD WIRED in to the electrical system. In the event of needing warranty work, you would be a fool to drive a Dodge/Cummins into a dealership with a Banks Kit on it. I have grown to much prefer the plug in/unplug boxes in the event of a warranty problem. The Banks Ottomind also screws up your fuel computer... ... ... a problem that I failed to ask when I bought the kit. Banks accepted back the Ottomind computer and gave the dealer a $795 credit which he passed on to me against a VA. THE THING THAT MADE ME PULL THE Ottomind off the truck was when my friend's Cummins, that had a Bank's Kit on it, had a cast iron fit. The truck had 60,000 miles on it. It was towed in to a Dodge dealership and when they opened the hood, they canceled the warranty on the spot. As Emeril would say, BAM! He went to DC. He went to Banks. The only thing that happened was he got caught in the middle of a gale forced urinating contest between DC and Banks. HE PAYED to have the truck fixed out of his pocket. Sold the truck and ordered a Dmax. With the technology that is available today, there should be no reason to have to hard wire warranty canceling devices on these trucks. Guages, an EZ and 4" turbo back will do the trick. If you need warranty work, unplug the EZ and drive into the dealership... ... ... . It's so simple... ...
