6 Gun/PDA
I had to wait to get 10k miles on my 05 before I put on the 6 Gun/PDA combo. . What a great combo... It has all the power my truck I mean my transmission can safely handle. It has all sorts of things I can monitor like trans temp, trans slippage, air intake temp, and of course EGT and boost. I can change the parameters and limits where it will sound a warning and defuel engine if necessary. If my trans starts slipping, it will defuel, if my EGT exceeds the limit I put in, it will defuel, etc. I have my alarms set for engine temp, EGT, and trans temp. The gauges I currently monitor on the PDA are Boost, EGT, Engine temp, and Trans temp. It logs max boost and max EGT. Overall it is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks to the Banks PDA, I am now aware of how hot my transmission is getting when I am towing even without adding any power. I guess it is better to know and plan to correct it before I have major problems. Without the PDA, I would just be driving along dumb and happy till the transmission died. I rate the Banks/PDA 5 stars
