Just finished over the past weekend installing the complete banks kit. One day I did the exhaust, air filter, and the high ram intake, and the other day the six gun tuner/speedloader, big head wastegate, and guages. Good instructions, overall a straight forward install. The egt probe was time cunsuming. I decided to take the front part of the turbo(compressor?) out of the exhaust housing which made the wastegate a breeze to install and I got all the shavings out easily. Power increase is definately noticable. I would like to find a dyno around my area to see what it's puttin down. 100 or so miles around town no towing yet and zero problems.

pics can be seen in readers rig under banks !

Nice job, did you put in the new intercooler as well? Not to get into the whole warrantee thing, but will your dealer give you a hard time when you take it in for service?

Bertram65, I did not do the intercooler. As for the dealer, I haven't asked them. I did talk to Banks and they said there is nothing in the kit that will void my warranty. Fortunately being so close to the city I have about 6 dealers within a 30 mile radius I can go to if the one closest to my house gives me any lip. :D

Motofreak, the whole kit cost 2097. 80 without freight, they paid the freight.

SRADKE- I had placed this order back on 06-01-04 and Banks stopped shipment due to "quality control". I told them to cancel and they told me they had a new box shipping out in a few weeks along with the fact they knew there was a problem, so I waited. Banks didn't give me a for sure number. They just said very close to what is advertised. I really want to dyno it also but 2 local chassis dynos do not have the sensor for a diesel. I think it was the optical sensor or something. Truck does feel strong on level 6.

KLockliear- I would really like to see what the truck puts out as well.

If anyone know of a place near Chicago-O'Hare that can dyno a diesel let me know!!

When I dynoed my truck, we just took the inductive pickup and clamped it on one of the four wires to the #1 injector harness. The dyno was able to sense the injector pulses, and once we dialed in the proper degrees for a 6-cylinder engine on the dyno software, it worked fine.
