I've got thier exhaust brake on my 99 5spd. Works well. I like the warm up feature and once warm does not turn on until 35mph and off until 15mph. Lets me keep it turned on but not engaged cruising in my neighborhood.

Not sure how well it works on the auto though.

I have the Banks brake on my truck, it was on when I bought it. At first I didn't like the way it was totally automatic. You can turn it on and off and that is about it. The controller takes over but after using it I really only have a couple complaints, it works well. If I could change a few things it would be that it would come on in second gear below 30MPH. Right now you can downshift to second but it won't engage unless you are going over 30. The only other thing about it is that using it limits you to an HX35 style turbo. Also when I bought my exhaust system the downpipe that came with it would not work because the Banks downpipe is proprietary. You can get one that is 3" to fit a stock exhaust or 4". I had the 3" so I cut it apart along with my new downpipe and welded them to work. I would suggest that if you are planning to go with a 4"exhaust you do it when you install the brake and get the 4" downpipe as part of the system, Banks wants $150 for it if you order it seperately.

My old truck had the DTT transmission, smart box and pac brake and it worked very well. I was hoping to get an exhaust brake and transmission control at less cost for my new to me truck.
