What does the group think of the Banks System. Power Pack, Torque Converter and Exhaust Brake. I am towing 7000lbs max travel trailer with a bone stock 19981/2 4x4 LB 4:10 Quad with all gauges and 130k on speedo. As Tim Allen (Dick) says I need MORE POWER.

Thanks,Ron

I think most of there stuff is over priced. I dont think they make as much power as the rest of the field. I used their power elbow cause i couldn't find any think else, it worked out great for me, no complaints on that product. I've also took a ride in a truck with the Banks brake and it seemed pretty smooth, haven't seen any other brake system though so i can't compare.
I think their power back is a bit over rated, you could do better and save money with some other products... Just my opinion.

I have there 4" exhaust brake and it works great. Comes on for warmup each morning to to help keep it from sticking. I have not had any issues with it. The turbo mounted brakes do limit you on future turbo upgrades. SNOKING

the powerpack is a great system if you don't expect huge power. It will work wonderfully for heavy towing.

You also could go other ways and gain the same power for 1/4 the cost.

Their break gets great reviews and their TQ convertor is not widely used from what I can see but I'd emagine it is great.

Maybe you should think SMARTY first:D

while i bought my truck with the Banks Stinger package already on it, I have no complaints. Its got a lot of miles on it and everything is working well.

not sure i'd spend the money on their stuff though. lots of other options for better prices. their exhaust brake is nice and the big head wastegate is a nice upgrade many dont think of as well.

Yah I like my Banks Monster Exhaust only w/ Power Elbow system and then the route of Edge w/ attitude and really enjoy it. I tow gooseneck trailers for work 3 days out of the week so as far as the brake im not sure sure of, I have no complaints as far as their exhaust, although i paid alot more than what I could have gotten others with but the Power Elbow I really enjoy.
