It is not like stock where the hose had a lot more coverage and the hose was more flexible if the compressor outlet was slightly off though - I think that's part of my problem. It's pouring rain, wind, and sleet now so I'll have to check later. 90 mm will give good coverage, but not be a PITA to install. Here's a pic:
