Yes, one of the tubes necks down to match your turbo OD size and the appropriate clamps and hose are included for install.

They look good in there too. I had to paint that orange-red High Ram black. It looked really bad with a silver truck. If it ever stops raining around here I will actually try it out.

I Know Banks Does Not Show this in the Instruction manual that comes With the IC, But Today is the Second truck That T&C had to replace the Transmission lines (Customer installed the IC),It is Much safer to remove the Driver side wheel well and the washer fluid Bottle for the outlet side intake tube 03-05. Install the clamps exactly as shown in the Photos. The lines retail for $85. 00.

More questions;

I called Banks and they told me the intercooler was 3. 75" thick. I just recieved a brochure from them that says it is 2. 68". I measured an 05 truck and the stock one was 2. 25" and if Banks is 3/4 more that would be 3" even. Just trying to get some measurements so I can fit this into my 1st gen.

Anyone know the widest width of the cooler?

On edit; The 05 plastic tank stocker has a 2" core.

Yeah that's right; 2" for the stocker. Got my numbers mixed up.

The Plate and Finns fit inside the Core ends so you must have room for 3. 10. The stocker core ends are the same size as the Plate and Finns.

jwilliams I didnt see a loss in boost either, but trust me I have alot of air going through the studs and nuts, we put pressure through the turbo and at only 5psi it started leaking and at 20-25psi wow freight train.

I just installed mine this morning and now have a nasty sounding leak - like a balloon releasing air or a real tight fart :-laf . It starts around 15 psi, but I am going to go out with soapy water to try to find the leak. If it's those studs with the chinzty washers, how do you stop the leak?

Ok - found the leak! I had to rev the engine to redline and hold it there with a stick on the pedal while I sprayed away for 15 minutes. Solution left in the intake stud hole did not bubble at all! It appears to be at the turbo compressor outlet. Sprayed some soapy water on there and it shot back in a stream and started making bubbles. It looks like the hose is almost too short for modified turbos at 80 mm and leaves a lot of "shiny" metal area exposed (that was previously covered with the stock IC setup). I am going to take my stock hose and cut it to 90 mm and see if that helps later after these storms pass.



I am not worried though because at WOT it stills runs noticeably - like 50-100* cooler than stock and the smoke still clears up. Yes this is with a boost leak so I can't break 30-35 psi with injectors and TST 4x1 (previously hit 40 psi easy). So with lower boost and same if not better performance the intake restrictions are definitely less!



So who makes a modified intake manifold to eliminate all those square areas? :-laf



Justin - also check all your hose clamps before you start installing. The last 2 hose clamps I had in the Banks box were the wrong size at 3" instead of for the 3. 5" intake horn. I had to drive back home and go through my parts stash to find some old clamps that I luckily had. Otherwise it would have been hardware store clamps the rest of the week.

6-3. 5" units and 2 of the 2. 75"/3" units for the turbo outlet.

It looks like it to me, but I still have this leak with everything tightened down snug. It is not like stock where the hose had a lot more coverage and the hose was more flexible if the compressor outlet was slightly off though - I think that's part of my problem. It's pouring rain, wind, and sleet now so I'll have to check later. 90 mm will give good coverage, but not be a PITA to install. Here's a pic:

Make it up at the IC inlet tube, their is plenty of room, You can easily get it to a 1/8 of the turbo flange.



Check the distance from the Banks tube to the IC inlet, Should have 3/4 to 1 inch Room.
