Hi guys, Altho I think the Banks systems are overpriced. I'm looking into the twin ram setup for my 215 P-Pump motor. Looking for anyone who is running this set up and would like your comments please. This motor is installed in my 1st gen. truck. TIA, Mike

I like the looks of the twin ram manifold. But I would have to grind off the banks name. Everything in mine is TST.

Joe, I could care less about looks. Was just trying to get input on operation & if it helped any at all. I know the power gains are in the fueling aspect. I will go that route after I run out this 100,000 mile warranty. Which at 3500 miles a week should not take too long. <G> Thanks, Mike

When I bought a Banks Stinger setup for my truck I asked about the Twin Ram. The Banks salesman actually told me it was a waste of money and made installation twice as time consuming. Needless to say I didn't get one.

the twin-ram doesn't, as a stand-alone, do much (anything??) for power... however, according to my power-broker/therapist the stock intake doesn't distribute the air quite as well as it should, so you have 2 cylinders that run hotter than the other 4. . the twinram evens this out, so that you can gain some safety-factor when you up the fuel. supposedly cuts that uneven heating to the point that you can "plate" another 50HP into your engine recipe without blowing your EGT's---once the install is done, it should be like any other piece--a resident that doesn't get bothered---passing on someone else's $. 02 that sounded plausible to me---rich

Guys, Thanks for the replys. I think I will pass on this mod for now. Esp. @ over $ 500. 00 Thats all most a weeks worth of fuel for me. Thanks again guys, Mike
