banks worked for me

had another brand of exhaust on my 03, drone and resonation something fierce. just put a banks muffler on and love it. very little noise over stock and egt's are still good. felt like i hade messed my truck up with the other system but now am very happy. i highly recomend the banks muffler, yes it is pricy but it works .

Did you put the whole Banks system (exhaust) on or just a muffler. . Did you use the muffler with your stock stuff or the other company and just changed out the muffler ????

just muffler, did not need whole system, but friend has one and it went on real easy.

no to banks with stock system. i allready had purchased a complete 4 inch satainless system with a muffler, basically a glasspack. i just grafted the banks muffler into it. the first system was actrally a thicker stainless.

Gee :

We have a good heavy stainless exhaust system out there ( less muffler ) with no name but the good muffler has a name. How come the good heavy gauge pipe has no name and the thinner gauge muffler does??????

don't want to overly bad mouth a product others seem to be happy with. my personal taste had the prior system to loud for me. the banks is a very good product, still stainless and no reason to pop for another complete stainless system, common sense to me. pm me and i will pass on the manufacturer of the other system. you must remember they are all opinions and everyone has one, just like other things.
