Hard to say which chip is safer... All of them can hurt other parts of the truck if not addressed. But one things for sure, EGT backdown should be on EVERY truck, IMO - even stock injector'ed 3rd gens can get hot like NOW

That would be TST & EDGE, and then the ones that have it as an add-on, Banks/Bulydog/Quadzilla -- Quad and Bullydog have monitors that have EGT backdown



TST and EDGE also have boost limiting, and sometimes cool down timers (Edges Juice Platinum for Ford, and the new TST PowermaxCR)
