Banned on Diesel Truck Resource

I'm gonna open my yap and throw in my . 02¢ from a distance to give myself a running start. :-laf I have been to other sites as well as most of you have and I can say that the TDR will definitely ruin your perspective of almost all other sites. As an example, I go to a sailing web site and they not only eat their young but will slit the throat of anyone who just disagrees with them. I have seen the most vile language and extreme personal attacks on posters there. They have no moderators that I can see of and is so bad that I am close to dropping my membership. Be thankful that we have moderators that are intelligent, have guide lines and apply them fairly and evenly. I am.

Your not missing much over there! I hate to say it but it is a beginners site, look at the questions that are asked! There is very, very, little for me to learn over there and they are so touchy that I don't say much.



Now if you are going to promote a vendor that pays them money your all good. It would not break my heart to get banned but I don't feel like waisting the time on the site.



The TDR is were it is at, second is competition site! I've no isses with the TDR nor ever had and would pay $50 a year for access to it.

I have been getting a ton of phone calls and emails regarding this thanks alot everyone who is supporting me on this. My most recent email was from someone who Larry Ellis actually threatened physically over pm's what is up with that . Larry has gone psycho on me on more than one occasion but he only cussed me out and called me names. Phsysical threats huh there's a family orientated website. :-laf

Yes he went psycho on one of my buddies in a post so I chimmed in and said " real tough guy behind a computer screen Larry " and 10 seconds later I was permanently banned. The worst part of it is that I could of helped some of the members with their questions on some threads but that will not happen now, I still bite my lip about that.

I would like the TDR to go to a monthly mag, and maybe charge a little more. I start jonesing for the magazine about 2 weeks after I've read the last.



As a side note on the wonderful (Yeah, right) DTR, I was reprimanded by the admin for language. (I don't even cuss) With a stern warning about being banned. :-laf
