Barn Chicks

Okay what happened to Barn Chicks?When I click on it a vBulletin comes up. I guess another one was shut down.

I was wondering the same thing. The last time I checked in on the thread it looked acceptable to me. And the pics were pretty acceptable too!

Status of Barn Chicks

I'm very sorry. I should have posted a notice that I moved that thread to the Moderator's forum.



It is the first thread I've moved in many months, so I don't think we have any chronic problems with users or with heavy-handed moderating.



I moved it at the request of a number of users who felt the most recent photos violated a reasonableness test of acceptability in a public forum.



I hope this clears up any confusion or concerns resulting from my lack of communication.

Eet ees no problema! I thought the photos would attract attention soon enough, even though *I* didn't think they were very risque at all. But then, we chat FREAKs are a little odd anyway.

I did think "Barn Chicks" might have been a little one-sided, though. Had it been entitled, "Barn Chicks 'n' Hunks", it might've been OK... .

But here's a serious question. Wasn't the Barn Chicks thread in Other? And isn't Other a private, members-only thread? Understand that I'm not questioning site management; I'm really trying to verify the meaning of the semantics in use.

CLARIFICATION

I did not pull the thread because there were posts of "good looking girls. " I did not pull the thread until a couple of users got very creative with photo editing software and started editing body parts.



Do not read this as encouragment to post an abundance of photos of scantily-clad pretty girls (or guys for that matter). But an occassional photo is not a problem. It is when the "fun" gets out of hand that we have to intervene. Remember, what is funny to one person can easily be offensive to another. We have a difficult job (moderators) trying to balance the needs and desires of both extremes. We need your help.



Appropriate self moderation beats the heck out of having to have us get involved.

Come on Doc put that picture of your body up no. Then as you say that would be pushing the envelope to far.

The DTR didn't seem to approve either, now THAT's a shocker. I bet if you showed a naked piture of your truck (I. E. no paint) the DTR would remove it.

Now I know I saw a pic of a good looking rear end of a boat some where when I started pushing the buttons on this computer here a few minutes ago now it is gone . Maybe I am going Blind ~~~~~ well you know I do wear glasses and the Doctor makes me wear glasses not to see Better but to see More and there's a lot More to see than what Comes to Naked Eye .
