Geno's is going to send another one, they said sometimes they just don't fit, seems kind of funny to me, but we will see. Thanks Gary

Just make 100% sure you remove it before starting it up.

I'm speaking from someone else's "experience" I use the Blue Point one that they ruined as a flag holder at my desk. The body OD of the used Blue Point is 1. 155"

You could also try the 1st tool in someone else's engine, could be you have a slightly damaged barring tool hole.

Maybe others will say it is OK, but I'd personally frown on using an impact gun on it.

My barring tool will not fit in my '02 either. I have owned both trucks since new and done almost all the service on them, in other words, no abuse to the barring hole. I checked the diameter of the tool and it is at 1. 173. No thick paint on it or anything, so I guess its just too big.

Got the new barring tool today, same package, same part number, but it measures 1. 153" vs. 1. 173" diameter. Go figure? New one fits just right. :)

Interesting... .

I wasn't sure if I would use mine much but, after trying it I like it better than just using the pulley bolts. Mine fit perfect and tight thankfully. :)
