BESIDE the DTT pump, the DTT system is really good.

I put an additional fuel cooler in my system. I did not get ALL the air out of the cooler. I thought, now it is going to take forever to purge the system.

NOPE, started right up - on the lp. There was air in the RASP and it was NOT developing pressure, pressure switch turned on the carter and 10 psi right there. Started fine. Went driving, and as the RASP started pumping the pressures went right up to 17 psi (on mine), then a little air and right back to 10 because the lp had been off and no pressure from the RASP for a second so the carter was turned back on, then right back to 17 psi.

That has happened a couple of times as the air is worked out of the install. I never have to worry that NO fuel will get to the VP, the pressure switch insures that you will have at least the carter.

Yes the RASP is excellant and does a wonderful job. Nice to see psi going up as the rpms go up. Better even than that to know that IF anything happens to the RASP the carter is right there waiting. And if you want to adjust your max psi from the RASP all you have to do is take the return bypass apart and adjust the spring to whatever you want.

I just wanted to share other aspects of the DTT system OTHER than the mechanical pump.

I called BG about 6 months ago and they said they had no pumps that were designed for diesel and felt like they couldn't handle the increased viscosity.
