Super 8 to DVD Transfers?

how could it not be in play? see that big yellow stripe on the wall? see any type of wall between it and center field? Anyone remember the polo grounds? I'm not that old but I know what it used to be... . a friggin farm field for center field. Wasn't it like 490 feet?

Thanks to all who replied. My boss was renegging, even sayin' it was a photoshop job. I went to the web site as listed in the first reply and found another angle of it. I see it is actually a flag pole! What the hell were they thinking? This is THE DUMBEST design I have ever seen! Anyone know why they did this?

Anywho... My boss is pouring (thanks, TxDieselKid. ) He usually buys when we are thirsty anyway, but this bet was more 'bout the principal.

I think it's cool, it's nice to see that extra element thrown in there for an outfielder to navigate. I like it, more parks should follow suit.

Lets just put all sorts of obstacles out there:D How 'bout super spring vaults in the outfield to shag flies. We could do to baseball what slamball did to basketball:-laf

I would like to see a salary cap on what players can make, i. e. no more then 5 million each year so that the talent can be spread around.

that will never happen as long as corporations support the sport. The players would never let the owners profit that much, and frankly I don't blame them. You guys think the players have it made??? the owners are the ones raking in the cash, they sign the players checks and laugh at them because they grossed them 30 million and only made 10 million (just an example). Most people don't see it that way, just think players make too much... . if that's the case then never watch a game, not a TV game, not in person, don't read about it. It all supports the sport which in turn generates businesses to advertise and shell out money, which is what it all boils down too, money.

You're all misery amateurs...

You could be an O's fan. Now there's not even Cal Ripken to make things interesting. But I guess the home run contest the other night helps a little, with Tejada's dingers beating Berkman's. Palmeiro should have had a Viagra before the semifinals to help keep his bat up. :D

BTW: that pole in Houston has been there since the new ballpark was built. Wasn't it originally "Enron" field? Hmmm. There's some clear thinking for ya.

Well like I said, I think it would be a good idea even though I know it would NEVER happen. Too bad, they want to be the national pastime again, and by having a better race then they would get it. :D
