Die hard platinums. They are AGMs made by oddysey. Just installed a set and they come with a 4 year replacement warranty. I'm happy. :)

Diehard Platinums here also. I got the group 34's but some of the other members are using the group 65's. The 65's require the tray to be modified slightly but they have about 50 more CCA's than the 34's. The Platinums and the Odysseys are both made by Enersys. Being AGM's, they can be shipped through UPS.

I like the batteries from Costco and Wal-Mart. They may not be the best, but they have the best prices and the best warranties.

I went with the 65s. Instead of modifying the battery boxes, i trimmed the edge of the battery that flares out at the bottom and perfect fit. Just make sure you cut even with the battery case so you don't cut into it. I used a jig saw.

I would use the largest size that will fit that you can find at a local retailer with a good warranty. I alway used AMG's in my off road vehicles due to the extreme angles and there is no doubt that they are superior, but in my everyday drivers, I just use Duralast Golds or WalMart Everstarts due to price, warranty, and availability. I have had good luck with Optima batteries but there are two things that I would caution you about. #1 is that they seem to discharge more if they sit for a long time. #2 is that they tend to not sell as fast and if you buy one at your local parts store, it may have been sitting in a warehouse or on their shelf for a long time. Other than that, great tips from the other guys on here about how to fit the largest possible battery.

Optima red tops if you live in the sunny South. Optima yellow tops if you live in colder climates. (Make sure they give/sell you the trays they fit into. )

I live here in AZ. with summertime temps 110 and above. Have a set of Optima red tops that are going on 5 yrs. old. Regular batteries are 2. 5-3 yrs here typically. Will buy two more when these go.

Normally, I would go with everybody else and recommend aftermarket stuff. I'm usually a Diehard fan myself. BUT-I've had such a good experience with my OEM's I gotta say that they're great! Almost seven years on them and not one ounce of problems. Battery test eyes on them are still green and the engine still cranks as fast as it ever has. Granted, I don't do many miles-about 80k in those 7 years, but I have used the batteries to power additional lights and accessories. I even use them to power my electric cooler for up to 7 hours at a time. Don't know why they've lasted so long, but I really can't complain.

I am still on my original batteries also, going on 8 years. Even from Mopar they are around 65 bucks which is not bad. I have used the Costco batteries in other vehicles but they don't seem to last the rating on them. Also, I don't want any acid in my truck, OEMs are sealed.
