Battery.....again......still.....

It appears it's time for new batteries and stumbled upon a find. A few years ago the Sears automotive departments disappeared in Canada and I thought that was the end of the Diehard battery. I come to find out that Kal Tire bought the rights to the Diehard battery line. They are selling the Diehard Platinum Group 65 for $119. 95 (Canuck bucks).

before I bought my new 09, . . My 2001 needed new batteries. . I just went with the Ever-Start at Wal-mart. . (yellow Batteries). . seemed to do pretty good even through winter. (Salt Lake City)

FYI I just called the Abbotsford store... dude was a little slow, told him I wanted a group 65 battery and then asked me what size. . I said 65 he goes 65 what... I said its a battery and I need Group 65... Then we do the whole what year BS. . Finially he said he can get the Diehard Gold for 120. I asked is that the best battery you have he said yes... I called another store and agian quoted for the gold, I aske for the platunum and he said they can't get it, they only have the gold... So YMMV on the Platinum for 120... . If anyones get a true platumum for 120 please let me know

Try Costco. They have the best prices and the best warranties. Their batteries are also one of the better, which are made by the same company as the Interstate battery.
