Should I install this switch in the hot line to the starter? Thats what I bought it for, in case the starter sticks and I need to disconnect. I think I might mount in in the floor like a aux fuel tank switch.

Thanks

Michael

Michael, even if you put a million miles on your truck it would probably take less time to install new starter contacts every 100k before before they stick. You're going to have to do it anyways, just do it before you're forced to. My 2¢

Your right, Bill, and I am going to replace the contacts. Just something I want to do and it would make a good theft deterrent also.

If you put a switch in the starter circuit, Make sure that it has enough ampere capacity. I go with the preventitive starter contact replacement. If you want to dis-able the starter, put it inline with the small solenoid wire from the key. Of course this only works if someone "punches " your key switch lock and wont shut off the starter if it sticks. Chris
