This is something you don't see every day: Propane

Ram Snow Blower

I bought a 3 amp charger/maintainer to keep my batteries up. If I connect it to one will it take care of both. is there a preference to which one I should connect to or does it matter?

Thanks BIG

I connect mine to the passenger side although I do not think it matters. It should see one large battery maintaining both.

Doesn't matter because it's one system.
But with 3Amp it is really only a maintainer and not a charger.
A charger for both batterys connected would need at least 12Amp to work as desired.
I use a 25Amp at my workshop since many years after a 5Amp charger smoked up.

I'll be watching this post, I try to run mine once a week, but seems lately they are week and I need a bosster to keep it running until the regulator takes over.

My battery tender jr has done well on my wife’s 06 GTO. We hook up in November and it stays connected til the end of April. Hasn’t cooked the battery yet.

I use the Battery Tender Plus also on my trailer battery during the winter months. The battery tender plus has a red light when it is charging and will than shift to a green light when it is maintaining the charge. The battery is removed from the trailer since it is in storage for the winter months. This works great I have a fully charge battery come spring, ready for use.

I had a battery Tender for my 2, 6 volt batteries connected to make ONE BIG 12 volt on a Travel Trailer it didn't keep them charged. I dont know if it was asking to much of the Battery Tender or what it finally burnt up, I bought another to only have the same thing happen.

Not driving the Dodge as much as I use to I decided to try another Battery tender only a different brand and amperage. The Batt Tender was 1.5 amp the Schumacher is 3 amp.

Ozzy I also have a REGULAR battery charger but thats all it does VERY WELL I might add. The New Schumacher says that it charges and then maintaines with a floating charge.

DONT ASK THIS POST IS FROM MY PHONE I had the pictures for another website for farm equipment. Don't know why theres two pictures of the charger.

I put on the Maintainer/Charger yesterday!! It started out with a solid light meaning that it was charging in fact it said it was on the LED screen.
Periodically I returned to check its progress, still solid. Went to bed got up this morning to fill the wood boiler for heat and checked the progress the Maintainer part of the process had taken over with a Flashing light temp drop from the 60*s to 15* with a windchill in -*

I figured if it wasn't going to work it would have been in the colder temps
