Thanks Clark. I have not had a problem with any of my Optimas, but it might be worth the few extra dollars to buy from Interstate. Before spending this kind of $$ on my first one, I just replaced my battery every season, and cycled out the used one to friends. I too have seen bad Optimas, and have had friends that had difficulty with warranty on newly purchased product. Think it was partially dealer related. That's the good thing about Interstate, according to my dealer/friend. No BS at all on warranty replacement issues.

Corey, in some circumstances and pricing deals a warranty may not be honored for some reason or another. The deal might have been you get these batteries for this certain price but no warranty comes with it. I know i have a FEW accounts set up like that.

I got 4 years out of a blue top optima that I abused in my car. It had been run dead more times than I care to count. It had also sat for almost 6 months when the car had no motor in it. I got a motor put in the car and it fired right up  try that with a lead acid battery :D
