2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Battery temp. sensor

Have a 1998. 5 2500 and its throwing a 1492 code (ambient/battery temp sensor volts too high). New batteries,and shows charging at 13. 8volts. I was told the sensor was under the battery case not. Does anyone know where it is ? the dealer doesn't.

Its under the Drivers side battery just above the Cruise vacume servo,

Pull battery, and you will see a black round disc about 1. 5" in dia, disconect wire at frount of battery tray and it should just pop up & out.

Went back out and looked again still could not find it ,about a year ago I was involved in an accident and the drivers side finder was replaced,I'll have a little more time this weekend and I'll pull the whole box out and see if they have shoved it somewhere,Thank you for the help.

Okay found the wiring harness it's suppose to be plugged into oops they forgot to replace the sensor,the plug has pink/yellow and black/light blue wire going to it, anyhow thanks for the help
