Battery terminal connections

1999 170 k. All the top side battery terminals. The ones that are easy to get to and clean are good shape BUT what about the ones that are hard to get to. What’s been your experience in finding them loose or badly corroded. And did you replace cables or repair Napa cables or custom built for more than $300 plus shipping. The custom built ones do look very nice. At my advanced age it’s hard for me to get to the tough ones .We don’t salt are roads here in the winter Give me your ideas. Thanks.

If you don't salt, and not all rusted out should be fine.

The small grounds are always questionable from the factory on some 24v trucks, as these trucks age there are some known issues with bad grounds popping up from time to time.

Mine were all tight at 200k with no issues with then being loose anyway.

You could always get one of those selfie sticks for like $12 off amazon and snap some pics of the hard to reach spots if you have a phone with a camera. Or have someone who can help you take some pics, just be careful around the starter don't want to ground out anything.

I did replace all mine as we do salt here and they were pretty shot.
